Epimedium youngianum Purple Heart Orange/Peach Foliage Plants Sweet flag loves a moistEpimedium x youngianum 'Purple Heart' is a 2000 Darrell Probst introduction from his cross of E. grandiflorum var. violaceum and E. x youngianum 'Pink Star'. The purple tinged leaflets become darker as they mature, providing a stunning backdrop for the near white flowers. While the leaves on this tight clumper eventually turn green as the weather warms, they once again take on the purple color as fall arrives.
