Donnachiara Aglianico Taurasi - 2015 (750ml) Vosne-Romanee Delicate cedar and cigar box

Delicate cedar and cigar box towards the finish that just goes on and on

yet it is exquisitely balanced and can age for another two decades in a good cellar

Nose - Creamy and sweet with aromas of heather honey

I'm still young enough to do that kind of work – and if I go down

Donnachiara Aglianico Taurasi - 2015 (750ml) Vosne-Romanee Delicate cedar and cigar boxThis inky colored wine has subdued aromas evoking blackberry jam, ground pepper, eucalyptus and a whiff of woodshop. The dense, monolithic palate offers dried black cherry, bitter prune, star anise, oak and roasted coffee bean alongside grainy tannins that leave an astringent, drying finish. You'll also get a green note of powdered sage. Give the tannins another few years to soften, then drink to capture the remaining fruit and freshness. Kerin
