Vintage Semi-Translucent “Telephone” Interior Sign chaff cutter 3" dia and 6Rectangular interior wayfinding sign reading TELEPHONE, produced in a semi translucent blue panel with crisp white block lettering. The sign is housed in its original black rubber surround, designed to cushion the panel and allow it to be surface mounted or set into a shallow fixture. The material and construction suggest it was intended for backlighting or ambient illumination, allowing the lettering to remain legible in low light public interiors.
