Metaxa Seven Stars Brandy (750ml) Dundee Hills and in 50 yearsNosing passes find mineral scents, like limestone, browned butter, nougat, almond paste and pumpkin and sunflower seeds. Palate entry is far fruitier than the bouquet, introducing flavors of prunes, figs and dates; midpalate goes the pastry route, especially prune Danish, blackberry preserves and date paste. The pastry shop dried fruit element continues on into the aftertaste. Wine Enthusiast 85 89 points
