Gerald Balciar
one of a kind
These sculptures draw from her experiences observing private Navajo ceremonies
They still live in villages that cling to the six hundred foot high escarpments of three rocky mesas rising abruptly out of the desert plains of northern Arizona
Siesta Western Art Inlaid with Roserita and PinkGerald Balciar, a keen observer of animals with an extensive resource library of wildlife material, is most concerned with conveying a feeling or mood in his sculptures rather than recreating exact replicas of his subject. Bronze Rabbit sits on marble and wood base. Edition of 75. 6" x 9" x 4"
